In a recent study on the best UK city to be a landlord, Liverpool has one of the highest average rental yields in the country, with the national average yield standing at around 3.6%. Liverpool also has an average rental price growth of 2.65%. Many people have found investing in Liverpool to be a highly profitable venture, and new build properties with guaranteed buy to let yields continue to be in strong demand.
The regeneration of the city centre should see its population grow. The Office for National Statistics gave a figure of 181% for the population growth from 2002 to 2015. A continuation of this upward curve will lead to a huge demand for places to rent in central locations in the city.
