Property developer donates almost £10,000 to help Merseyside charities this Christmas

Sourced Development Group is donating nearly £10,000 to support various charities across Merseyside as part of its Christmas campaign.

The Widnes-based property firm has chosen to lend a hand to Liverpool’s L6 Centre which supports babies and young people facing extreme poverty, helping them with food, clothing and other essential items.

It is also donating to Liverpool’s Whitechapel Centre to help alleviate the city’s homelessness crisis, which has been brought into sharper focus following the recent cold snap. A further funding boost will go to Radio City’s Cash for Kids, which supports children and young people affected by poverty, abuse, neglect, life-limiting illness and those with additional needs. Meanwhile, a variety of essential food items have been given to Widnes Foodbank – set up to cater for families and individuals facing food poverty.

Joanne Waller, managing director of Sourced Development Group, says: “The L6 Centre, Cash for Kids, Whitechapel Centre and the Widnes Foodbank all do incredible work to support those less fortunate.

“We could not be more proud, as a developer rooted in the communities we operate in, to support these magnificent initiatives as the cost-of-living crisis affects families. Everyone in the team has a social conscience – it is part of our makeup.

“This targeted support on Merseyside and beyond will help alleviate the pressures of those struggling and re-integrate them back into society.

“Sourced Development Group is committed to bringing first-class housing and accommodation to the North West and ensuring no one is forgotten about or left behind.”
